I was watching the live webcast from Lowers Trestles in San Clemente during the Nike 6.0 surf contest yesterday. Usually all of the big name sponsors are present and the only entertaining factor in the webcast is the surfing itself. This time however I noticed something new. CJ Hobgood had a sticker on his board and a embroidered wetsuit with a new logo that I didn't recognize. It said, TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS . So I checked it out and it is a organization set up to help and find treatment for people suffering from hard times. I thought that this was really cool and a nice change of pace for the surfing community and culture.
I am also really into the artistic style that their logo and banners are portraying.
